Overview

Furality Online Xperience is the furry convention that celebrates the VR furry fandom!

Furality, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity that operates a semi-annual online convention, which is made possible by our innovative and exciting use of virtual reality.

Why Furality needs you!

The Furality team is a close-knit and diverse group of furries that are passionate about driving the VR furry fandom forward. You'll need to be 18 years of age or older.

Since our team is located around the world, all Furality team members work together remotely using Discord and Notion.

What you'll do!

As a member of the Event Stream Team, you will program and operate dynamic stage lighting for live-streamed presentations and performances within our Event’s Stage. This environment requires significant behind-the-scenes preparation to ensure presenters, performers, and attendees have a seamless and memorable experience. The experiences created by the Event Stream Team are custom-built and play a critical role in enhancing presentations, supporting performances, and elevating the overall production quality of each event.

  • Program & Operate lighting live for our Events Stage
  • Frame static looks for the stage for use during pre-recorded or low-energy events.
  • Provide feedback on lighting design/rig for the stage in collaboration with our Creative Teams
  • Collaborate with producers, talent and/or events team to bring their vision to life on stage
  • Assist with troubleshooting and bug reporting when working with world lighting systems

Qualifications

  • Experience with programming lighting and running shows for various event types (Speaking, Panels, and Performances such as concerts or dance showcases)
  • Access to lighting control software or hardware that can produce at-least 2 DMX universes of output (via ArtNet)
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced changing environment

Extra skills that make our tails wag!

  • A portfolio of previous works/examples to share (please include it if you do!)
  • Familiarity with VR Stage Lighting or related grid node software (FGrid, HNode)
  • Experience busking lights for live performances
  • Experience timecoding shows
