Club Stream Technical Director/Producer Director (TD/PD)

Overview

Furality Online Xperience is the furry convention that celebrates the VR furry fandom!

Furality, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity that operates a semi-annual online convention, which is made possible by our innovative and exciting use of virtual reality.

Why Furality needs you!

The Furality team is a close-knit and diverse group of furries that are passionate about driving the VR furry fandom forward. You'll need to be 18 years of age or older.

Since our team is located around the world, all Furality team members work together remotely using Discord and Notion.

What you'll do!

Believe everything you see on TV (at least at Club F.Y.N.N.) because you are the one who ensures what is being broadcast is amazing. Your creative vision is paramount to telling the story of the next Furality Online Xperience. In this role, you will be driving the live filmed aspects of the club with a live feed, not only visible from the in-world club visual displays, but also to our streaming services across the internet. Let the energy of the music flow through you and let the world know what Club F.Y.N.N. means to you!

  • Direct your team of Camera Operators to create the shots and angles that make up your creative vision for each set in Club F.Y.N.N.
  • Operate our Vision Mixer (vMix), which includes both live and canned content for live production and live-to-tape post-production.
  • Collaborate across the team to create a positive environment for everyone
  • Document issues, recommendations, and conclusions (“Remember kids, the only difference between screwing around and science is writing it down” - Adam Savage, Mythbusters (2012))
  • Help plan the broadcast workflow
  • Be supportive of the team when they are under pressure
  • Be available for at least 12 hours throughout the event in 2-3 hour shifts
