Club Stream Camera Operator (CO)

Overview

Furality Online Xperience is the furry convention that celebrates the VR furry fandom!

Furality, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity that operates a semi-annual online convention, which is made possible by our innovative and exciting use of virtual reality.

Why Furality needs you!

The Furality team is a close-knit and diverse group of furries that are passionate about driving the VR furry fandom forward. You'll need to be 18 years of age or older.

Since our team is located around the world, all Furality team members work together remotely using Discord and Notion.

What you'll do!

The camera seeks the shiny, and you are just the furry to find it! Dancing, light shows, wild avatars doing crazy shenanigans, your camera sees it all! As a Camera Operator at Club F.Y.N.N., you will be working in tandem with Technical Directors/Producer Directors to maximize the use of your mad camera pointing skills, yo. If you have ever wanted to show the world just how bumping Club F.Y.N.N. can be, now’s your chance!

  • Be a live camera operator while in VR (requires a strong VR computer)
  • Take direction from the Technical Director/Producer Director on shot composition and be autonomous with artistic shots. Find the shiny
  • Maintain a stable camera feed
  • Light post-production work to prepare locally recorded files for uploading to the provided cloud storage
  • Be available for at least 12 hours throughout the event in 2-3 hour shifts

Qualifications

  • A strong VR computer with the following minimum tech specs:
    • CPU - AMD Ryzen 5000 series or Intel 12th generation (8 cores minimum)

Extra skills that make our tails wag!

  • Some basic Unity3D skills and knowledge of VRChat’s avatar asset upload workflow
  • Familiarity with OBS Studio
  • A willingness to go off the beaten path and try new things (artistic emergence can come from violating rules of composition to obtain impossibly great shots)
