Overview

Furality Online Xperience is the furry convention that celebrates the VR furry fandom!

Furality, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity that operates a semi-annual online convention, which is made possible by our innovative and exciting use of virtual reality.

Why Furality needs you!

The Furality team is a close-knit and diverse group of furries that are passionate about driving the VR furry fandom forward. You'll need to be 18 years of age or older.

Since our team is located around the world, all Furality team members work together remotely using Discord and Notion.

What you'll do!

As part of the Event Team, you’ll be crucial in building the events schedule for our conventions. Performances and panels are a huge part of what makes Furality special and provide all attendees with entertainment and information to help make their experience one to remember.

NOTE: This application is for volunteers in EU-based time zones. There is also an application for NA-based time zones.

  • Communicate and coordinate with event hosts to ensure panels and performances will run smoothly.
  • Support the events team in building the events roster & schedule.
  • Assist in finding special guests and event hosts to perform at Furality, Inc. events.
  • Support the Furality organization by working with other departments and volunteers.
  • Generate and maintain written documentation of methods and processes.
  • Run events live during the convention.

Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating events in a volunteer-based organization (e.g. floor management).
  • Working knowledge of Discord and how to utilize the system to foster interactions in a professional setting.
  • Demonstrable experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Being able to adapt and work under different circumstances between event hosts and the organization.
  • VR equipment and a computer able to withstand large population VRChat instances.
