Furality Online Xperience is the furry convention that celebrates the VR furry fandom!

Furality, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) public charity that operates a semi-annual online convention, which is made possible by our innovative and exciting use of virtual reality.

Why Furality needs you!

The Furality team is a close-knit and diverse group of furries that are passionate about driving the VR furry fandom forward. You'll need to be 18 years of age or older.

Since our team is located around the world, all Furality team members work together remotely using Discord and Notion.

What you'll do!

As a Social Media Creative Writer, you will compose social media posts intended for X, BlueSky, Telegram, and Discord. These posts range from critical announcements to fun audience engagement. You will also coordinate with other departments to help maximize engagement and deliver accurate information.

  • Write and schedule social media posts to further our social media marketing goals
  • Participate in Social Media Team meetings and provide insight and feedback
  • Generate creative ideas for new social media marketing material
  • Collaborate with other departments to serve their social media needs
  • Assist with social media project management tasks

Qualifications

  • Well-versed in top-level social media platforms: Instagram, X, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok, etc.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for social media
  • Strong, detail-oriented organizational skills
  • Proven ability to adapt to an ever-changing media landscape
  • Ability to both work independently and as a team
  • Maintain confidentiality as needed

Extra skills that make our tails wag!

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing, or equivalent in professional experience
  • Experience creating furry content for a social media account that has garnered a notable following
  • Experience with social media dashboards and analytics software
